i used a air dry clay called Mont Marter.

hiii okay!

• for the shape I rolled two oval-ish circles, one small for the head and a big one for the body. as seen the pics

• For the smaller parts like his paws, feet, ears, and hat is similar just try to get a as close as possible to the shape.

• it might benefit more if you have a pompompurin figure on hand to look at as areference model. i say only because i had saved photos online of pompompurin that had a full turn around, he didnt came out on model of course but nonetheless he is still cute. also if you see the progess pic ive uploaded, his body changes through out bc i went on layering clothes and that altered the figure ≡(▔﹏▔)≡ . And the feet couldn’t support the upper part which made him slant at the end result. • plus i think I should’ve let it dry a bit to attach the clothes. *so, when i sculpt the second one I'll try and let it dry a bit before adding on clothes.

• for the clothes, Any smooth cylinder item you have is good enough to roll flat. the raincoat was a tad bit difficult i must say because of just me eye bawling everything, the size and trimming it. Cutting the shapes. attaching them easy, the hatching and wetting the area a bit then place shape to then smooth out the seam

• once you are satisfied with the end results let it air dry like two days. On mine sculpt I let dry for three days bc of the amount of clay the little guy had in him. with this clay you'll know when it dries completely.

• then comes sanding! To remove the bumps and random dust that has attached to the figure. I used a fine sanding paper that’s for cars because I thought I didn’t have any. That’s how he ended up looking all smooth like that lol. Then I realized I did have sanding paper, the sanding sheets that come with the blending stumps. I used that as well. i did that for a good week till i figured i couldnt get the creases and indents it had. sand till your satisfied but don't sand too hard or fast! oh yeah, IMPORTANT that you sand the feet and make sure the figure can stand on its own!

• After that You are ready to paint! paints I used are those 98¢ paint bottles Apple Barrel you can get at walmart and other craft art stores.

~ before paiting i was debating whether to paint pants or not so I did neither and went in carved pants on him.

i didnt even used up all the clay as i thought i would. theres like half of it left and i bought the rust color one for the next pompomlumbo i wanna do. this time i learned from my mistakes plus i now have a little pompom to actually have as a ref

But i wanted to atleast chuck something out today so heres the ref/original idea sheet of Avery, my fnaf sb self-insert/oc from a while ago :)

(Ive already kinda shown this b4 but now it just looks nicer)

Also here's some bonus info on him and his role and all :)

• Hes a trans dude (he/they pronouns) that "is built like a twink and dresses like a femboy" (silly quote from my friend lmao😭), and has an extremely ambiguous voice - British accent btw (grew up in the UK, he moved over to his current residence and lives w a roommate who was his online friend).

• Hes can occasionally be a lil bit of a freak behind the scenes XD. Has indulged in alot of fanfiction, draws some questionable stuff for money and also generally can have pretty crude and vulgar humor sometimes lmao.

• Hes pretty creative with a long ass list of hobbies. Loves fashion and costumes, is an artist, avid sewer and just generally loves making things with his hands in his spare time (100% brings his crochet to work XD)

• Has almost crippling anxiety about literally almost everything.

• Hes very polite and tolerates alot of bullshit to avoid conflict, but inside he is 100% raging with the heat of 1000 suns despite the fact hes outwardly shaking enough to be practically vibrating. He will definitely talk shit about the situation to himself in great, excruciating, dramatic detail with alot of angry cursing later and then probably cry about it.

• The boi is a little try-hard that will do their job above minimum effort in order to get praise, or out of fear for getting in trouble.

• Hes typically empathetic to a fault and a straight up (un)qualified therapist.

• Oh, also, hes a raging insomniac.

- First got the job because art commissions were a little slow and, hey, a more reliable source of money at the time wouldnt hurt.

- He was always kinda curious about the place because the scary stories about it were fun to pick apart and he loved the designs of all the animatronics (pft furry).

- He showed up to the interview scared shitless but they hired him almost on the spot, much to his confusion, as he was probably less than entirely qualified for this sort of job.

- From his very first day, he showed up pushing the dress code XD. But, he was indeed wearing the uniform, so he was technically following the rules(THEY COULDNT DO SHIT TO HIM 🥰) (well they could) (but the understaffing issue was more prioritised).

- His coworkers genuinely have no fucking clue how he manages to give enough of a shit to put that much stuff on every morning. The fits are always very over the top, considering all he had to do was put the damn uniform on, but alas, he usually showed up in head to toe accessories and such. It's honestly the best way he can make himself go into work. If he's gonna work a kinda shitty job that doesn't fit his schedule that well and have to do it on barely any sleep, THEN FUCK YEAH HES GONNA DO IT WHILE LOOKIN GOOD. Thats his philosophy on it, atleast XD.

- At first while he settles into the job hes just given shifts in general areas, working joint shifts with more trained security guards or maintenance people or animatronic handlers (those were his favourites. He always got excited like a little kid when getting to see any of the animatronics) to get him used to the place.

Fazbear ent. Was clearly desperate for employees as they were almost always understaffed, but it seemed that they weren't willing to give many employees a strict job role. Rather, expecting them to be a jack of all trades as to try and fix that little issue.

This also happened to apply to Avery, explaining why he was given such oddly scattered and different jobs to settle him in.

- Even as he did start becoming independent, this didnt much change.

One night he could be watching security cameras in the office, the next he could be counting stock at a gift shop, the next he could be helping out with minor maintenance tasks on the robots (despite his ZERO FUCKING KNOWLEDGE ON THEM. Great job there Faz.Ent. Oh well. As time went on he did get atleast a little accustomed to it and managed not to electrically fry his no-robotics-degree-having ass. And he also gained a bestie in the Parts and Services Department, so that was pretty helpful too).

Shit was pretty damn good.

- Thats when they 'suddenly' decide that daycare security is necessary. Something about parents becoming increasingly weary of the odd 'Daycare Attendant' animatronic.

With Avery being their newest hire and most likely to agree to take the position, he immediately gets targeted.

- Now, Avery isnt fond of kids.

Theyre annoying little shits.

So the second he hears 'daycare' hes like "fuck no".

Not to mention that his uh... 'look' (that management had still protested until eventually giving up) would probably set off some entitled mothers or something, and he'd rather not have parents screaming in his face about it.

- Alas, hes eventually convinced into it, under the condition that he gets to stay behind the security desk and not be bothered at all.

- Theyve had security there before, after a few... incidents... but it seemed like they were putting him on a more long term intended job.

- Turns out, from what he can gather from coworkers, a few people have been assigned to the daycare in the past for multiple different roles, but noone really enjoyed it and everyone avoided the place as much as possible. Sun just generally freaked everyone out with that weird... desperation he always had (which was definitely a part of what the parents had also been complaining about) and Moon just scared them all shitless, with the night security guards always looking over their shoulder in hopes of not crossing patrol with him. Noone really downright hated them, some even felt sympathy, but most were just too unsettled to interact with them.

- Avery, being a bit of a pussy, is even further put off from the job by these sentiments.

However, he perseveres and dresses his best to try and convince himself that itd be fine (aka, that if he died atleast hed die pretty).

- The daycare actually had its own themed uniform alongside the plain guard uniform, as did alot of other places in the pizzaplex. However, since the employees were given a choice, basically everyone chose to not don the more whimsical fits, and instead just use their badge to show the specific job or branch they were supposed to be legally assigned to.

- Avery, on the other hand, fucking lived for that shit. XD

Styled it like a girlboss and walked into work at exactly 6.30am, 30 minutes before the daycare opened, prepared to look perfectly the part for his job.

- When he walked into the daycare (he avoided the slide... hm.. maybe if he ever has a night shift here....) and the lights were already on and bright enough to blind a bitch.

Oh well, their electric bill, not his problem.

- He immediately settled behind the desk, planning to keep his ass planted there for the next few hours with one earbud in, hidden under his hair, as he would halfheartedly watch the kids.

But...

Something felt off.

Really fucking weird.

He was definitely being *watched*.

Observed.

Ugh, creepy.

He ignored it, blaming it on lack of sleep.

And thats about as far as i got plan wise for his lil plotline XD

prev i actually forgor to do that lol so here it is

so starting off with stuff i forgor to do:

checking the color values before going to sleep, there are So many parts of this that dont look the way theyre supposed to esp the darker parts

to scale up parrot and wiffies, zam and spoke are actually the shortest guys here

spoke's skelehands, its actually p important that i remember this one cause its the main design choice he shares with mapicc

i didnt have my wemmbu ref (cause it was on a notebook) but his belt tie is actually on his right side not his left which is important cause i wanted him and zam to have a little subtle mirrory-ish thing going on

the tie around zams scabbard actually. tying together

zams golden shoe buckles

next with the stuff i thought about but didnt add for one reason or another:

jamato was originally gonna have a glove + arm warmer sleeve things combo with the gloves being the same color as his shoes, i may change it back to that depending on how his story goes specifically in regards to how he interacts with spoke (if they become more codependent i'll change it back as it would make his and spoke's hands blend together when they hold hands)

was debating between making jamato's black parts actual pure black but decided on keeping it that off black color, may change later if i manage to figure out what i want his species to be

debated between putting parrot in cargo pants or pants with zipper pockets and decided to go with the latter cause it seems more practical with how much he flies around

was originally gonna make parrot's hair neater than his other versions but i wanted him to match with wifies so it stayed loose and messy

wemmbu is supposed to have a jacket but i couldnt think of what to give him, originally thought of giving him a lab coat but realized he doesnt really do a lot of experimentation esp compared to the other two mcs and i just kinda hit a wall after that, just realized at the time of writing this i could give him an aviator jacket

wemmbu and zam were also supposed to have capes but their designs already have too many details so i excluded them

zam's circlet was originally gonna have larger spikes but i decided tomake it smaller cause 1. its more practical and i wanted unstable zam to be almost absurdly practical compared to other zams and 2. he doesnt have the same sun symbolism that he has in lifesteal and making the spikes larger really made it look like very sunny which i didnt want

zam's eyes were originally gonna be fully red which is his equivalent to that thing in anime where super serious kinda dead inside characters would have no light in their eyes but i decided to change it cause i dont think hes That dead inside (at least not yet anyway, may change later depending on how the story goes), picture below of when i was figuring out his design for reference of what im talking about

now for the stuff thats actually there:

i never really drew jamato before (not counting the back of his head, pic below for reference of what he normally looks like in my design) and the only other parrot drawing i have is of his tsftlt version but this is the only version where they have chest ribbons and thats because they both seem to have a a lot more knowledge on mc mechanics (exploits and vanilla respectively) compared to the other players and also to connect them with their respective partners (parrot has a ribbon hair tie which means both he and wifies have two ribbons)

the rainbow parts on spoke's shirt and shorts are all in slits which would be hidden if he stood completely still as opposed to his usual design of having all of them present at once, this is mainly cause i wanted to emphasize his movement since running away from things is a big part of his character

spoke has black leggings, rainbow ankle warmers, and loafers(? idk what theyre called) cause i wanted him to match with jamato and also to give him more of a school boy vibe compared to his usual design of vaguely scene basketballer

parrot normally wears a button up, jogging pants, and rain boots but i wanted him to match with wifies

wifies normally has brown eyes but i wanted him to match with parrot in having an eyecatching accessory color be his eye color

wemmbu doesnt normally have two-tone hair and i added that as a replacement for his crown jewel and to match with zam's multicolored hair

wemmbu normally has x-shaped laces but i decided to change it to horizontals so he can match with zam

wemmbu has a lot less jewellery than he normally wears cause he doesnt have that same "extravagance" so to speak that his other versions have which mainly stems from the fact that his normal ingame brokeness can no longer be superseded by his irl richness so much so that he gets excited by things like finding open air diamonds in a cave

related to the above, he specifically has only stud earrings as opposed to his usual myriad of earrings because of it and also because of his nostalgia for older minecraft since stud earrings are the kind of earrings that ppl usually get when they first get their ears pierced and this version of wemmbu has only ever had these specific earrings and will cry if he ever loses them

unstable zam is probably the most uptight zam ive designed ngl: he rarely if ever lets his hair down and will almost always choose tighter styles even if hes just going to sleep, practicality over style (tho he will style the practical things if he can), always depicted with a weapon of some kind, eyes always slightly squinted and brows always slightly furrowed in concentration, and wears clothing that makes him look closed in (he wears lighter clothing in the pze cause its in a warmer biome but it still fully covers him up), basically i just wanna make him look like hes got a stick up his ass and always ready to kill even if hes not really that uptight and homicidal in the actual series, make him look as intimidating as possible basically

not sure how obvious it is but unstable zam has broader shoulders than other zams and everyone else in this lineup cause hes the most tryhard guy here and probably trains like everyday or something

zam wears leather gloves because its more practical to wear it with all the rough handling he does and also to match with wemmbu

the posing are all based on their relationship with each other:

jamato is spokes mentor so he leads spoke by the hand while spoke follows, jamato is more chill about the whole ordeal while spoke is more excited and even copying jamatos posing in a more exaggerated way even if it endsup making him look a bit more awkward silhouette-wise reflecting their differing levels of dedication to each other, jamato is also more open than spoke is even if spoke didnt really mean to become so closed off later on, spoke is also the only one of the main three who didnt lead his partner when they were together hence why he comes after jamato

parrot and wifies have a lot of opposite personality traits/thinking patterns but ultimately do things together in sync and supporting each other, and the importance of the trust spyglass ofc

wemmbu and zam are basically pissing each other off the entire time theyre together thanks to their opposing personalities making them constantly butt heads with each other even when theyve got the same goals and keeping as much emotional distance as they could and yet they still cant help but get in each others space for one reason or another, theyre the only ones not smiling not because theyre necessarily Unhappy being around each other but because when theyre purposefully pissing each other off is when theyre actually getting along and when theyre smiling at the same time is when they hate each other

the bg colors are initially chosen between analogous and tradic colors but then adjusted a bit:

for jamatospoke the initial chosen color was 7bb976 (triadic of jamato [676f9d and d58484] since spoke was too many colors and also their relationship is heavily focused on jamato thanks to spoke being a codependent little freak) and while i liked the fact it was a pale color i didnt like the fact it was green since its not a primary color so i changed it to pale yellow to show how happy yet kind of innocent and naive it was, a little too innocent and naive for the series making it easy to wash it out

for parrotwifies the initial color chosen was 5165a6 (analogous of parrot [7cdace] and wifies [5c2f73]) but the color was a little too pale and also i wanted to make it darker to reflect the fact that parrot and wfies' story arcs revolved heavily around being kept in the dark but still having each other as support even when they stumble

for wemmbuzam the initial color was eb427d (analogous of wemmbu [8d29da] and zam [fad160]) and while it was good i thought it wasnt saturated enough for how intense their partnership got at times so i maxed the saturation to reflect that
